Kuching City Tour

Kuching, the capital of Sarawak. Its city centre is well preserved, with ornate houses of worship and many fine examples of colonial-style architecture. The iconic cat statue strategically dotted along the city centre, a symbol of Kuching City’s mascot, will greet you along the way.

Borneo Cultures Museum

The Borneo Cultures Museum is a modern, five-storey structure with a distinctive architectural design that reflects Sarawak’s unique traditional crafts and rich cultural heritage. The new museum aspires to be a vibrant hub of social and cultural exchange.

Sarawak Cultural Village

The Village, also known as the “Living Museum,” is a kaleidoscope of Sarawak’s cultures and traditions. Explore the seven authentic replicas of ethnic houses, including the Chinese Farm House, Malay’s Stilted House, Melanau Tall House, Penan Hut, and Longhouses of the Iban, Bidayuh, and Orang Ulu ethnic groups.

Semenggoh Wildlife Centre

Unlike in a zoo, the orangutans are free to roam in this 653-hectare forest reserve. Young and adolescent orangutans are trained here to be self-sufficient in the wild. Observe their delicate nests, as well as their deft movements in the treetops and fascinating feeding behaviour.

Crocodile Farm & Mini Zoo

Nestled within lush greenery, the farm serves as sanctuary for more than 1,000 saltwater and freshwater crocodiles, within enclosures designed to best mimic their natural habitat. During feeding time, witness their mighty powers in action.

Annah Rais Bidayuh Longhouse

The Bidayuh people, Sarawak’s second most populous ethnic group, are widely known as the ‘Land Dayak’ and the ‘Engineer of Bamboo’. Annah Rais, one of Sarawak’s iconic Bidayuh longhouses, is located about 100 kilometres east of Kuching and features magnificent architecture made mostly of bamboo.

Fairy & Wind Cave (Fairy Cave closed on every Monday & Wind Cave closed on every Tuesday)

Fairy Cave, which rises majestically to a three-storey height and Wind Cave is a tunnel-like cavern home to bats and swiftlets.

Kubah National Park

The park’s charm lies in its blend of scenic rainforests, waterfalls, streams, and 93 different species of palm trees. The Waterfall trails – one of the park’s popular attractions – wind through a mixed dipterocarp forest with numerous planks walkways, swampy terrain, small jungle streams and wild durian trees.

Gunung Gading National Park

The world’s largest flower, the Rafflesia to be found in this National Park. When in full bloom, this flower can reach three feet in width, and releases a distinct foul odour that attracts flies and other insects for pollination.

Morning Dolphin Spotting Cruise

The cruise crisscrosses through the mouth of the Santubong River in search of the elusive Irrawaddy dolphin, also known as the snub-fin dolphin, known to inhabit rivers, estuaries, and coastal rivers.

Evening Wildlife & Nature Watching Cruise

Cruise along the mouth of the Santubong Peninsula, where Irrawaddy dolphins are frequently spotted. Its mangrove-lined rivers are home to a range of wildlife, including the unique Proboscis monkey. As night descends, look out Fireflies and crocodiles.

Satang Island Excursion

Medan Niaga Satok

Medan Niaga Satok, locally known as Satok Market or Kubah Ria, opens every Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning. This market is famous its fruit and vegetable stalls, run by the native women. Walk around and admire the vibrant and exotic array of vegetables, neatly displayed on mats or canvases, to entice potential buyers.

Kubah Birding Tour

Located on a sandstone plateau, its diverse forest comprises a blend of dipterocarp and scrub forests, interspersed with isolated patches of kerangas (tropical heath forests) that are home to various mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and endemic birds species. Immerse in a day of birdwatching.

The purchase of any tour services offered by Cat City Holidays Sdn Bhd (hereinafter “Cat City Holidays”), constitutes a contractual agreement between you and Cat City Holidays, and your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions set forth. By booking a tour with us you are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions and you’re booking with us is accepted on this basis.

WEATHER AND CANCELLATION

We reserve the right to change or cancel all or parts of the tour due to factors beyond our control or to replace any vehicles or vessels without prior notice for the safety and comfort of our passengers. Adverse weather conditions, including but not limited to road conditions and terrain, may cause some aspects of the tour to be altered. We reserve the right to change the tour sequence so that all trips are in the same destination area if circumstances beyond our control arise. Changes to the tour’s sequence can be made with advance notice, but can also be made during the tour. Tour cancellations due to “force majeure” may result in a handling fee.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

If you have any mobility or medical issues, if you are pregnant; and believe you may be affected by adverse weather and sea conditions, you must notify us before signing. up for a tour with us. All tours involve some risk, and by participating in the tour provided by us, you expressly assume those risks personally and, to the greatest extent. permitted by law, release us and our staff from any liability, claims, damages, or expenses caused by any event, including, but not limited to bodily injury or death, personal property loss, acts construed as negligent or omission, or accidental or other damages of any kind.

INSTRUCTION

To ensure the maximum safety and enjoyment of the tour for yourself and, other tour members, you must observe and obey all posted rules, and you agree to follow any verbal instructions or directions given by our agents, representatives, employees, tour guides, tour leader, before, during and after the tour. You are always responsible for the safety and security of your belongings. We are not responsible for any individual’s luggage or personal effects while on one our tours or trips. * Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

WILDLIFE SIGHTING

Wildlife sighting is NOT GUARANTEE on any wildlife tour, even though each trip is designed around known habitats. The guides will do their utmost to ensure a sighting, but cannot be held liable if there is no successful sighting of wildlife due to weather, or any other factor beyond our control.

TOUR CANCELLATION

NO REFUND will be given in the event of any cancellations requested by you during the tour. The date of the tour may be changed, subject to confirmation and availability, up to 24 hours before the tour begins. Cancellations made after the reservation has been confirmed will incur an administrative fee of RM100.00 per person. You are expected to arrive on time for all tour activities; No REFUNDS will be issued for missed activities.

KAYAKING/ DOLPHIN TOUR / KAMPUNG BENGOH / BAKO NATIONAL PARK / MANGROVE WILDLIFE CRUISE

Cancellation of the tour (before departure) due to inclement weather or hazardous sea conditions; a refund will be issued less an administrative fee of RM100.00 per person. If the tour is forced to cancel upon arrival at the jetty due to hazardous sea conditions that endanger the passengers’ safety, a refund will be issued less an administrative and service fee of RM100.00 per person.

BIRDING TOUR

Our Birding Tour will take place rain or shine. Unless you decide to cancel on your own, you will receive a refund less a 10% administrative fee on the total amount of the of the tour, or a minimum of RM100.00 per person.
PLEASE NOTE:
  • No refunds will be given in the event of your failure to notify us of your cancellation before the tour commencement time.
  • No refund will be given for service not utilized during any tour.

CHILD POLICY

  • Children’s prices are based on ages 2 – 11 years old.
  • Child rate is 65% of adult rate. Overnight Bako / Longhouse Tours will be 70% of adults’ rate except of Mulu Packages, child rate will be 90% of adult.

APPLICABLE TAX

  • Accommodations included in the tour package are subject to Tourism Tax per room per night.
  • Tourism Tax is payable by the Guests upon check-in.

VALIDITY OF THE TOUR PACKAGES

  • 31 December 2024

BOOKING POLICY

  • All rates are subject to any applicable taxes.
  • All bookings are based on first come first serve basis and at least 72 hours in advance.
  • To secure your booking, all confirmations are subjected to full payment.
  • A minimum administrative fee of RM100.00 nett per person will be imposed for cancellation of any booking once it has been made.
  • 50% cancellation charge for booking cancellation within 14 working days.
  • 75% cancellation charge for booking cancellation within 7 working days.
  • 100% cancellation charge for booking cancellation within 72hours or No Show.

TRAVEL DOCUMENT

It is the responsibility of on self to ensure that they have valid travel insurance, passports and visas, where necessary. If in doubt, please consult your travel agent or local immigration authorize passengers should make arrangement of their own travel and health insurance coverage of any kind.

LIABILITY

Certain risks are interest in adventure travel, passengers join the tours at their own risk. The company are not liability of any injury, sickness, death, loss, damage, accident, delay, inconvenience, additional expenses or mental or physical distress or other event caused in connection with any of our tour.
